Square Connectors (Allowable Voltage: AC200)
Rectangular connectors are designed with a rectangular interface. They are frequently used in products such as discrete wire IDC connectors for terminating multiple discrete wires and D-sub connectors used in office appliance and computer interfaces. The connectors are usually used in sets that comprise the male (pin connector) end with exposed terminals and female (socket connector) end where the pin is inserted. The connectors come in either straight types that mount perpendicular to the circuit board or right angle types that mount horizontally to the circuit board. Wire termination methods include soldered, crimped, IDC, screw-mount, etc., and are different for each connector.

D-Sub Connector (Ribbon Cable Pressure-Contact Wiring, Low Profile) FD*D Series
A ribbon/cable crimp connection type D-sub connector. Low height on the wiring side helps save space within the set.[Features]• Metal shell makes it compact and sturdy.• Connectors can be mounted on the chassis, or on the front or back sides of the panel.• Height of the wiring side is greatly reduced to facilitate more compact sets.· The structure uses a piece of metal to secure the ribbon cable holding plate and is thus able to provide a strong securing force to secure the cable reliably.• Standard 1.27 mm-pitch ribbon cable can also be pressure-contact connected by replacing the tool when the pitch is something other than the 1.38-mm pitch of the D-sub. DN Connector for Small, Low-Profile Type Interface
This small, multi-pin rectangular connector was developed to support the miniaturization of electronic devices, and thinner devices in particular[Features]· The terminal's wire connector is arrayed in a 2.54 mm grid that makes it easy to design circuits on a printed circuit board.· The structure of the terminal is based on the manufacturer's SM series (D-sub connectors). This gives the terminal dependable quality.· The single-action lock mechanism provides excellent operability.· The cover case is designed to be thin and compact and features a low profile in order to meet the needs of high-density mounting. Mounting with 17.78 mm (700 mils) between circuit boards is possible.· The cover case is made of an aluminum die casting offering good electromagnetic shielding characteristics.
