Braided Tubes (Protective function (environmental resistance): Weatherability)
Braided sleeving bundle and protect cables in electronic and electrical wiring. They bundle multiple cables for a tidy appearance and are used widely with computers, electrical appliances, automobiles, etc. Braided sleeving is constructed from polyester and silicone plastic fibers woven into a mesh structure, and has high tensile strength, elasticity and flexibility. They also feature excellent abrasion resistance and heat resistance, protecting cables from disconnection due to cable abrasions, etc. They come in various types by material and shape to suite different applications, such as shielded sleeving, silicone flex sleeving, noise reduction sleeving, etc. They also differ in characteristics, such as whether they can be fitted onto installed cables or how easily the material frays, and should be selected to match application and operating environment.
