Magnets - Ball Type
The magnet ball type is a ball-shaped magnet. Ferrite magnets and neodymium magnets are mainly used. Ferrite magnets made of iron oxide feature high cost-effectiveness. The ball type surface is gold-plated or mirror-finished because it is easily broken. Used for general-purpose motors, speakers, etc. Neodymium magnets contain rare earth elements and are more magnetic than ferrite magnets. Because it is easily rusted, the surface is treated with nickel or gold plating and is widely used in industrial robots, machine tools, etc. Also, with joints, the ball part rotates 180 degrees, and is used for joint parts of robots, machines, etc.
